Proposal of shearing tool for the manufacture of shaped blank
Straka, Jan ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The thesis presents a design of a progressive cutting tool for the production of shaped blanks from sheet metal Usibor 1500 (22MnB5) with a thickness of 1.5 mm. The tool is designed by using CATIA V5 software in cooperation with Žďas, a.s. company. Based on the literature review of the cutting process, cutters were designed, shear clearance and order of operations in the tool were determined. The proposed cutting tool consists of both manufactured and standardized parts. Tool parts fall out of the chute onto the conveyor belt. The tool is designed to operate on an AIDA 1000 excentric press with a nominal force of 10,000 kN. Cutters that are not standardized are made of tool steel and heat treated according to drawing documentation.
Manufacturing of chain wheel for BMX bike
Figar, Erik ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of suitable technology for the production of BMX sprocket made of sheet metal 14 220.3, with a thickness of 4 mm. The production series is 200,000 units per year. Following the analysis of different production options, fine-blanking technology has been chosen as the most suitable precision cutting technology. A technological proposal has been created, which includes the choice of a suitable appropriate blank (sheet metal 4x2000x6000 mm) as well as the design of a shearing tool with the corresponding drawing documentation of its selected parts. On the basis of the calculated values, HFA 4500 plus hydraulic triple action press manufactured by the Feintool company was selected as a production machine. In the last stage, technical and economic assessment of the efficiency of this production was performed.
